Eh, the logo's not bad. There is some thought to it. I like the f-hole stylized into the N, that's pretty cool.

Thanks for bringing my attention to the F-hole portion of the N.  As a retired fiddle player, I should have caught that.  And the guitar-pick-shaped background is much more subliminal than the rather obvious guitar headstock scoreboard.

The ballpark was on the front page of today's fishwrap. Something about an extra $5m. But I can't access the article. Can someone summarize?

"has spurred a projected $5 million in additional city spending to cover new water lines, electrical lines and paving that isn’t factored into the project’s overall price tag."

EDIT: NBJ has it now: http://www.bizjournals.com/nashville/morning_call/2014/11/nashvilles-price-tag-for-new-sounds-stadium-going.html

Not just 5Mil on infrastructure but an additional 5Mil on stadium upgrades... only part of which will be paid for by the Ball club. I am an advocate for targeted development but I'm my mind the numbers need to be transparent BEFORE approval not after. In the real world we call that contingency. Include, and vote on a numbers that have an agreed upon contingency and then all other overruns are the responsibility of the private developer....

I hear what you are saying but the story is the story. Metro needs to reclassify the budget expense if it is not directly attributable to the stadium build out. I am for accuracy of information and for some reason we seem to get a lot of obfuscation from Reibling et al...

Or, better yet, let's do our research before we dive into large public projects so we don't end up paying millions of dollars in hidden costs.

I'm perfectly fine with building a new ballpark. I would just like to know the price tag before we decide to jump in.

I'm just wondering if this is the last of it. It's going to end up being a quite expensive minor league park.

I took a few photos today while running by the ballpark.  Coming along nicely.

Thanks.     Agree, construction is moving along very fast.

That's the front side of the stadium in your second photo facing Jackson St.   Wish something could be done to soften the impact of those blank walls.
