Theyve been working on the greenway connection. It will go under KVB and connect to the new amphitheater park. The portion on the trolley barn side of KVB is nearly finished.

The 2nd floor bathrooms are closed and the drop ceiling has been removed at the Ryman.  They have moved a portable bathroom near the side entrance.  Hopefully they'll finish this soon as it has a negative impact on the customer experience.

This triggered a knee-jerk question in my brain that may sound silly, but I honestly don't know the answer:

Where do the cranes for all these projects come from? Is it conceivable that there would ever be a point where the city actually runs out of available cranes due to the sheer number of projects underway at the same time? I have no professional knowledge of the construction world, so I'm sure there's probably a simple answer.

Anyone know about the construction at the corner of hermitage and kvb? I saw fencing on the sidewalk and a bulldozer. It is across kvb from the new riverfront project

 

I see now what you were asking about.    They've removed the sidewalk along Hermitage and it looks like some buried utility work going on, although I'm not sure what exactly.      It may have to do with water connections to the amphitheater park.     There will be restrooms and other facilities at the South end of the site where previously there has been nothing.

Sure is a colorful and "bountiful" array of activity in progress and prospect. guess I'll need to settle for returning to the house machine (or remote to it). The scrolling alone dramatizes the scale of development in a nutshell for a core of this size.

Wow!  I guess I haven't been down there in a LONG time.  What all stores are in the development?

 

Btw...that's an entire city's worth of construction going on right now.  That's some unreal infill.

Hill Broadway is very small. Just a couple of restaurants, I think. Union Common Steakhouse is the big news in that development, if memory serves me well.
