These may have been posted here before. If you have a little time to kill, this site has tons of historic photos of various cities. There's over 1,000 or NYC.

Make sure the kids have clean diapers before you click that link.

I don't remember seeing these three posted here (the bike photo maybe). If you've seen them still make sure you check out that site. I'll post the smaller images, but the link will be to the full sized ones...make sure you check those out. If you search on the site, there's some pretty good photos of Memphis as well...especially Main Street. I'll post one at the end. There's also the State Capital and downtown photos on there that we've all seen from 1865 or so.

This is becoming my favorite view within the skyline.    Love the layering as you look through the downtown blocks.   The Pinnacle almost looks like a ghost.    This view will be incredible once you add SoBro and Bridgestone in the foreground.

That has always been a favorite view of mine too. It will be even better when SoBro and Bridgestone is finished.

There have been certain days where the sky is just right and the reflection on the Pinnacle makes the building actually seem to disappear.

Just imagine what that view will look like in about 3 years with 505CST and Sobro finished.  505CST will pop up above the far end of Encore... and rise up to almost the lower "power" line near where it is attached to the utility pole. And Sobro will show up  prominently in the right foreground with the right corner and eastern facing side visible at the right behind it. It will look quite dense. With those buildings, the skyline shot from this area would be greatly enhanced by taking the photo about 100 yards back from this point.
