Crane is about half the height of The Pinnacle. Sorry about the photo quality. Anyone know if the yellow crane to the right is for Bridgestone? I just noticed it today.

On the side with the parking garage (is that maybe 4th Ave?), will the garage have any retail...or will it just be a blank wall?

well. the only visible part of the garage from the above angle will be the entrance, on the north side it will be blocked by the diner. and on the south side by a parking lot that may or may not ever be developed. so that only leaves the west side facing Encore.

Yeah...that's the section I'm talking about (west facing Encore).  Just wondering if it will have any retail...or just be walled off.  Not sure if anyone knows.

Since that part starts underground, would it be safe to assume that it would just be a continuation of parking with no street-facing retail?

So, what are the odds that this huge influx of luxury apartments downtown will lower the overall price of other apartments? If I ever do move back to Nashville, I hope I don't move back to an apartment market that's as expensive as DC... Nashville isn't there yet, but it's closer than I would have ever thought just a few years ago.

There is a good view of the crane from the Adventure Science Center Cam.  Sorry that's also my only view of Nashville from here.  Lol at least it looks like the Batman building lights are finally finished.

Anyways, here is another shot.  Couldn't get on our top floor for a better angle since people are using that area.  

I suspect the crane will get taller at some point.

The crane has added 2 segments to itself today!

The crane will probably top out about the height of The Pinnacle. Tower cranes usually clear the top by about 50ft or so.

No, I think SoBro will be about halfway between Encore and Pinnacle in height.
