New crane segments are being delivered to the site.    I expect the main 505 crane will be a good bit taller by Monday.

Noticed yesterday that the 505 crane doubled in height and is very visible.

Saw the mention of glass so I took a walk by at lunch. There is one small section up!  Also threw in a pic of the garage, they're working hard on the lower retail section and the decorative panels are going in.

^ ha.  I also snapped a pic walking by today.    Plus what looks like a new concrete boom is being delivered (although I honestly don't know what it is).

That big blue thing is indeed the boom for a concrete pump.

 

If you look close, you'll see one of those on top of every high-rise under construction in the city, wiggling around like a big octopus arm!

With the grey-silver trim along the concrete floor edge and the highly reflective glass I think this tower is going to look better than expected.

Thanks.   There's been one on top of the 505 elevator stack while it's been going up.   Either this is replacing that one or adding another.

Pretty sure it just looks that way because of the barriers (or possibly forms?) they have around the edges.  Once those are removed as they keep going up, you'll see that each floor is the same size.
