Selling the back third of the lot. Can't say I blame them, given that part of the plan kinda fell apart...

Not to mention that it could stave off a repeat of the possibly stillborn Virgin (or its elder sister at 16th and West End)

It's going to be an impressive building at 400' especially at the elevation it will sit on. The Pinnacle is 417' and sits on much lower land. With this tower, The Westin, and hopefully the Buckingham tower in the Gulch the skyline is really going to stretch out. Hopefully something substantial will happen at the old Mazda site on Broadway

365 or 385. No matter. I wondered why everyone thought this was going to be a 500+ foot building. The Renaissance is 31 and 385, but has the 12+ foot floor to ceiling office tower floors at the top.

In any case another sub-400 foot building for Nashville just like the Westin and Sobro. Nashville will feel lucky with the 460 foot Bridgestone and the 545 foot 505 Tower. Again except for the very rare and occasional tall building, we will consistently be 200-400 feet, but it's not a bad thing. The Gluch Tower at 38 stories and 450 feet will be a gem.

John,

My bad. It will be 385 feet. And I would much rather have this building with its striking design, strong street activation, distinctiveness, color scheme, night lighting, etc. than the much taller Snodgrass Tower.

I agree.  This is a 300+ footer that I can tolerate for the most part.  While I love height, the trade off for me is the striking design!
