In the pic above I really notice sleek Bridgestone America tower is even though it's a box this a tower that you would rather have or see built it takes less land space I believe less land than 222 on 1st ave

The garage is built into the tower and it's a seamless design

Architects should use more of this concept

I agree.  Even 222 would be 10X better if they would just go ahead and cover the garage with glass instead of whatever it is they're covering it with.

I keep seeing this picture but for some reason it seems off. I know it's on 1-40 right before the I-440 split coming from the west. I don't remember the skyline being that prevalent from that vantage point. I can remember it being more off in the distance when you enter I-440 and look to your left. Is this just a camera trick??

Triangulation and a deep telephoto zoom suggests that this vantage point was somewhere off a hill or knob near White Bridge Rd and south of Charlotte Ave ─ most likely West of White Bridge, possibly even at that elevated paved plaza, which served the former Kroger and just west of the current Kroger, between Oceala Ave. and Lellyett St.   You can observe the eastbound on-ramp at the 46th Ave. I-40 interchange on the right, with the divergence of the westbound flyover to Briley Pkwy shown beginning its ascent at the extreme left, but the extreme zoom magnifies the CBD, which actually can be noticed on approach near the I-40 spaghetti interchange at White Bridge and Briley

Camera trickery or not, I love this picture.  It reminds me of what the skyline looks like when approaching from the south on I-65.  There's that one moment when the skyline just looms ahead from out of nowhere and seems larger than life, especially the Batman building.  I tried to find it using Google Streetview, but of course it's not the same as it is live and in person.
