The description...

"This 1 million square foot mixed-use development encompasses 2.7 acres at the periphery of downtown Nashville. Phase I will include a 290,000 square foot, 20-story office building with retail uses at the ground level and structured parking above- and below-grade. Phase II will add a 260,000 square foot, 250-room hotel and a 170,000 square foot, 75-unit condo tower to the site. Phase III will add 290,000 square feet of residential in a 25-story, 245-unit tower. The complex topography, neighboring buildings and adjacent infrastructure all influenced the master planning and architecture of the project, along with Nashville’s form-based code.  "

The Nelsen project looks to be the Demonbreun Hill parcels. If you will note the project is on the other side of the Interstate, and on the west side of Demonbreun. The light shadowed in building in one of the rendering suggest that there is a tower at the Deja Vu site that Hensler is planning a tower.

What I love is that there are still guitars on the south side of the project.  haha.  We just can't get away from it.  Really love the renderings though.  Absolutely great for that site. Hopefully we'll hear something more official soon.

That's what I thought at first too, Smeags. But I don't think that's the Interstate, but the railroad where Kayne yards used to be. If you look at one of the photos, it shows what appears to be the off-ramp from I-40 at the bottom and the proposed Endeavor tower at left side.  Another rendering shows a tower where the Mazda dealership sat, which would be Endeavor.

Discussion at the meet is that it is the Deja Vu site.

Will be interesting to see if we can set all of these multi acre projects done.

Yes!  This...Lifeway...Tennessean...and 5th & Broadway.  Each one could leave its mark on the skyline....but together...will totally change the skyline.

I'm quite pleasantly surprised by how much of an impact Cambria Suites is making on the skyline for a twenty story hotel.  It really slots very nicely into that gap in the skyline from this angle.

Agree, however The Cambria could soon be blocked by the two hotels (I believe a Marriott Brand) proposed in front. Any update on that? I thought the small 4 story building next to The Cambria was about to be demolished?

The hotel built right next to Cambria will be the Embassy Suites and Curio Hotel combo.

For some of you who know way more about this than I ever will...do these public project documents from Skanska reveal any new info?

Thanks for posting this. I lost my link somehow when I got a new desktop. A valuable under the table resource I used a lot when there was something there.
