Me too. Met friends there a couple of weeks ago for beer, pizza, and college basketball. Pizza is killer.

One would hope so. No bueno in its current state for my taste.... particularly as it reminds me of a bland, modernist version of Spanish Colonial Revival....which seems a super-odd placement in the center of Nashville. Weird.

I bought these Ikea Poang chairs and ottomans for my man cave early in the pandemic. Inexpensive, super comfortable, but a royal pain-in-the-a$$ to have shipped at that time. The pick-up center in Nashville would have helped a lot. And I would buy even more stuff from Ikea if we had a store here - where I could see and touch the furniture. I'd be less inclined to drive to Lebanon, but that's just me. They're pretty stupid if they don't come to Middle Tennessee....

I lived in the UK (near Birmingham ) for 5 yrs and the IKEA there was huge.

I doubt A3 gets built without the project being taken on as a non-Amazon residential/hotel/mixed-use endeavor. My neighbors both work in Amazon (mgmt) and they're sceptical, to say the least, based on current and projected Amazon office use/capacity. But just my 2 cents and hope they're wrong.

Another article about Nashville being one of America's 4 powerhouse cities - this time from 'Entrepreneur' magazine. Good article, but it uses an ancient pic of lower Broadway - of course. https://www.entrepreneur.com/business-news/these-4-red-state-cities-are-becoming-economic-powerhouses/465532?utm_source=flipboard&utm_content=topic%2Frealestate
