  1. Haven't heard anything. But I stopped going there a while back when (free) parking became diabolically difficult. I have friends who felt the same. A victim of EN's success, IMHO.
  2. Yep, I drive by this every day and have been thinking the same for months.
  3. Yes. Additionally, this won't come to fruition for several years. Who knows what that number is in 3 - 6 years? Could be higher - or lower.
  4. I bought these Ikea Poang chairs and ottomans for my man cave early in the pandemic. Inexpensive, super comfortable, but a royal pain-in-the-a$$ to have shipped at that time. The pick-up center in Nashville would have helped a lot. And I would buy even more stuff from Ikea if we had a store here - where I could see and touch the furniture. I'd be less inclined to drive to Lebanon, but that's just me. They're pretty stupid if they don't come to Middle Tennessee....
  5. I lived in the UK (near Birmingham ) for 5 yrs and the IKEA there was huge.
  6. Some national recognition and love for NOKO restaurant in East Nashville. https://www.wkrn.com/news/local-news/nashville/nashville-restaurant-named-among-best-in-country-on-opentables-top-100-list/
  7. I doubt A3 gets built without the project being taken on as a non-Amazon residential/hotel/mixed-use endeavor. My neighbors both work in Amazon (mgmt) and they're sceptical, to say the least, based on current and projected Amazon office use/capacity. But just my 2 cents and hope they're wrong.
  8. An article on Nashville's population growth from CNBC (yesterday) https://www.cnbc.com/2023/11/30/nashville-added-nearly-100-new-residents-per-day-in-2022-.html?
  9. Here's a sneak peek (preview trailer) for next week's CNBC focus on Nashville in their upcoming 'Cities of Success ' series. Some tantalizing clips. https://www.cnbc.com/video/2023/11/28/cnbcs-cities-of-success-nashville-sneak-peek.html
  10. Another article about Nashville being one of America's 4 powerhouse cities - this time from 'Entrepreneur' magazine. Good article, but it uses an ancient pic of lower Broadway - of course. https://www.entrepreneur.com/business-news/these-4-red-state-cities-are-becoming-economic-powerhouses/465532?utm_source=flipboard&utm_content=topic%2Frealestate

Good article, but it uses an ancient pic of lower Broadway - of course, lol. https://www.entrepreneur.com/business-news/these-4-red-state-cities-are-becoming-economic-powerhouses/465532?utm_source=flipboard&utm_content=topic%2Frealestate
  12. Nashville: becoming an influential, national economic "powerhouse". https://www.axios.com/local/nashville/2023/11/14/nashville-national-economic-powerhouse-barrons?utm_source=flipboard&utm_content=ORBITS%2Fmagazine%2FNashville
