Re: the quote boxes...

I had some issues, too, in the beginning....try clicking outside of the quote box (to the bottom) and hitting backspace twice. If you try to erase the quote from inside the box, it doesn't seem to work right.

This is the third mural on THIS building (in my previous post). The text mural (Johnny Cash song lyrics) is on a parking garage behind the Downtown Presbyterian Church.

Excavation work on BWSC Building (Barge Waggoner Sumner Cannon) in SoBro. Eventually will be 8 stories and 125,000 sq. feet of office space.

Retail on the ground floor I thought? This area is going to be dense in the near future, I really hope it's not just parking

That's the only saving grace...the ground level retail.  Plus...the grates hiding the garage is decent.

Skyhouse garage has gone up lightning-quick. I'm pretty sure that there will be some retail/restaurant on the ground levels along both streets.

Not a bad angle, just wish the buildings were not so bland/boring from that perspective. Pretty much every building North of Union St is boxy. At least we have stayed consistent about that. Just replaced concrete with glass.

Yes, both the Division St and 17th Ave fronts of the garage will have significant ground floor retail.

From the Science Center cam - I drove through downtown yesterday and could see the top of the Cambria crane as I passed through. At 220' or so, it's going to make a pretty decent impact for where it's located.

Yep--they added three or four additional height sections to it almost as soon as they got the boom settled into place.
