Progress on a couple of residential projects along 12 South corridor.

12th & Argyle Townhomes.  Looking south along 12th Avenue from the corner with Summit Avenue:

I try to avoid shopping malls (hate crowds).. and always deliberately avoid anything with "Mills" in the name.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think everyone was there for the unveiling of Gen. Jackson's Equestrian Statue (you can see it covered up on the right under the white tarp). I'm amazed no one fell off the roof, since I'm sure a few folks "imbibed" in the spirits.

Former Sunset Grille in Hillsboro Village being reconfigured into two new restaurants. On Belcourt Avenue looking east:

TBT: Bicentennial Mall/North Capitol area, 1958. Looking northward from the roof of the Capitol Building. Note Sulpher Dell Ballpark in the upper right, and one of the final portions of Hell's Half Acre slum in the central wooded area in front of the CSX tracks (at one time it covered the parking area, and wrapped all the way around the west side of the Capitol grounds---was actually more like 50 acres that had no plumbing, coal heat, and sporadic electricity).
