  1. plus all of SEC teams playing Vandy year round in all sports.
  2. What is this area here with the concrete roofs... I know it's schematic, but if that's just parking lots and not park space, missed opportunity for sure.
  3. Yes, 100%. West End was chosen BRT route for The AMP and politics killed it entirely. Have BRT be successful on the selected routes and then add to West End later, IMO. Also, am I the only one who's having trouble deciphering the different greens?? Couldn't they have done different colors than different shades of colors?
  4. Each floorplate on levels 1-5 is different (lobby, retail spaces, co-working/amenity spaces, BOH) plus 3 levels of below grade parking. Once past level 5, each of levels 6-27 are uniform/stacked, so you'll see project speed up. Level 28 are penthouses, and Level 29 is sky lounge and pool/roof.
  5. https://www.nashvillescene.com/news/pithinthewind/technical-advisory-transit-maps/article_3ed02518-dbf6-11ee-8c2d-67509091115a.html#tncms-source=infinity-scroll-summary-sticky-siderail-next Looks like mass transit plan will have BRT with dedicated lanes. "Four new dedicated bus rapid transit lines on Dickerson Pike, Nolensville Pike, Gallatin Avenue and Murfreesboro Pike. The Gallatin artery would run through Madison to the edge of Davidson County. Planned transit on Murfreesboro Pike includes extensions to the airport and down Bell Road." Honestly I think the Mayor's office is correctly approaching this plan and praying it succeeds. BRT is ~$50MM per mile (includes stations, sidewalks, crossings, etc.), while LRT is ~$200-$500MM per mile. If we wanted to connect downtown to BNA with lightrail (9 miles), that would be $1.8BN to $4.5BN alone, plus maintenance costs... This plan would also expand existing WeGo and the entire city could be essentially connected. People will ride the BRT if it's on dedicated lanes. If trackless tram buses ever come to America, as @PillowTalk4 shared previously, this transit would do very well on dedicated lanes here. https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2022/09/trackless-trams-help-revitalize-suburbs/?utm_campaign=social_video_2023&utm_content=27383_China_trackless_trams&utm_medium=social_video&utm_source=facebook&utm_term=1_1 Simply covering up the wheels on a bus does wonders for the look and feel of the bus, which honestly is needed for people to ride the bus in Nashville (for various reasons).
  6. First Baptist owns the parking lot next to Bridgestone Arena, correct? Are there / have there ever been plans to redevelop that site?
  7. No Bonus Height seems odd, but Fallon Group can still do 40 stories, correct? Make me wonder if we had unlimited height, how tall they would actually go?
  8. Saw this rendering after the ceremony. I do not recall seeing this perspective before, but the angle really shows well. Crazy how The Fallon Group has 30 acres, yet that is such a small portion of the "Titans" overall site/acreage.
  9. @markhollin FYI Phase II has been renamed to Modera Riverview. Phase I is Modera Germantown.
  10. I think I have read that this development will have true affordable housing (60-80% of AMI). Bob Mendes and Freddie know it will be scrutinized heavily. However, given the location is near downtown, the boundaries of the AMI really matter as the AMI could become very high. As a silver lining, if the development were 1,500 market rate units (which it is not), that added supply does at least help mitigate gentrification from spreading throughout existing neighborhoods.
  11. This building under construction has actually been renamed to Modera Riverview. Modera Germantown is open and to the left in the above photo.
