Boarded up building on the corner of Broadway and Rosa Parks. Anyone know what that’s about? Was boarded up recently.

I think they pulled a renovation permit for the building. I am trying to remember, but fuzzy right now. Dealing with Covid and just trying to function from hour to hour right now.

It's been 4 years since the 8 story Hilton Tru/Hampton Inn dual brand hotel featuring a combined 214 rooms and 164 capacity garage was announced for 602 9th AVe. South.  The 9 Group is the developer, having paid $6.9 million for the .9 acre site in 2016. MDHA approved initial designs in 2019.

A source with information about the effort said the project is on hold and not shelved.

CityNowNext has a comprehensive overview of 45 upcoming towers climbing 15 to 60 stories in downtown Nashville:

Great Article; however, they didn't mention much about the West End, Church Street area. Every building mentioned was on the eastern side of the 65/40 loop.
