Thanks for the video.  As you panned to the west, I could see how much 805 Lea and Station District Towers will infill a low spot in the Nashville skyline.  So exciting!

It was under contract to a company out of Texas that had huge holdings in Austin and Dallas. Ii have not heard a peep since then. Site is zoned for 20 and probably bonus height.

What was originally going to be a Merle Haggard themed museum and restaurant is now going to become Johnny Cash's Kitchen and Saloon at 121 3rd Ave. South, immediately next door to the Johnny Cash Museum.  It will encompass 15,000 sq. ft. and will aim to recreate the "warmth, hospitality and authenticity" of Johnny and June Cash's home, according to the release, and its menu will feature "authentic, unpretentious Southern food."

No word from Bill Miller if he plans on still doing the Merle Haggard concept at one of his other 3 still-undeveloped properties downtown.

A saloon on the first floor with some pool tables upstairs I'm thinking would work pretty well.

The lawn at Walk of Fame park is torn up from all of the events held there as well.

The park was absolutely trashed a year ago, too. They seem willing to make the sacrifice for such a big event and did a decent job of repairing the grass afterwards, so I expect this year will see extensive reseeding or resodding in the next few weeks.

Sounds like Metro Parks should invest in interlocking ground cover panels for such events.  The National Park Service uses them on the National Mall in DC when big events are held on the lawns of the mall.  They really do help with protecting the grass and keep attendees from standing in mud should it rain.  They now put them down for Presidential Inaugurations and some of the other regular events held on the mall.

The Eaton Property has not sold but the Dandgure's property on the corner sold in November to a Korean man(ATP Investments), but not  the parking lot on the other side of Lea.
