Nah, the spiral downhill started in 2017.

You guys are missing the plot. Everything happening right now is a reverberation from COVID. That was a black swan event that completely upended the world.

We kept it at bay for two years (and two administrations) due to fiscal stimulus, but now we are paying for it. Interest rates are returning to a more normal level, which is a shock to a world that has been in quantitative easing for 14 years. When money is no longer cheap, the entire playing field changes. People are no longer looking for growth at all costs, but now have more focus on profitability. The world will adjust, but we are at a transitional moment.

Natethegreat, thanks for that perspective. You summarized that better then I did, your right that Covid clobbered the Worlds economy, not just here in the U.S , but EVERYWHERE! It will take time to level itself out, and then things will seem better. But it absolutely has nothing to do with politics as many would argue.

After looking at that aerial photo it makes me wonder if those underground garages are going to be separate from each other as opposed to a huge garage that you can enter or exit from different locations.

There will likely be some segregation between monthly pass holders (office workers), public parking, and valet parking. I think Fifth and Broadway is set up that way as well.
