First images of what Nissan Stadium will look like decked out in Nissan emblems.  (must say...Nissan is the perfect sponsor...being that they offer the Nissan Titan pickup.)

I can see it now they will have a "take home a Titan" giveaway. And a player drives you home in your brand new truck.

I noticed it is being touted as a 20-year deal. In 20 years the stadium will be getting rather long in the tooth...I think we can expect a major overhaul soon if they have signed on for that timeline.

Biggest "incalculable risk" is the swoop of individual floppers, rather than the investors per se.  Don't see anyway to effectively ward off those with purses so big they have tires (maybe even dualies), as I don't foresee any MDHA-like qualification constraints.to preclude the free market.  Being uninformed, I only can hope to be wrong (at least mostly).

Hyped-up condo sales event falls short of 'unrealistic' expectations

“My expectations are unrealistic and my wife told me that — it didn’t sell out,” McNeilage said.

So these are being built 'in the gully' fronting Shelby and 14th? If they're street level, they'll have to be pretty tall, 3 stories with a 1st story garage? Looks interesting https://www.nashvillepost.com/news/2015/6/18/start_looms_on_boutique_residential_project_in_east_nashville

I like these "moat" houses.  I think the landscaping possibilities are great and they could avoid having lawns.  Lawns are overdone.

Permanent signs are up at the new Pepperfire/Nomzilla location.

There is a temp sign up at the Oasis market, couldn't read what is said but I thought I saw the word tower on there?

Name of deli from the owner

Nomzilla is "soft open". Ate there on Thursday and really enjoyed it.

Insightful commentary from WW about the Southeast Ventures proposal at 5th and Woodland.  I wonder how Edgefield and other nearby neighborhoods feel about the increasing mixed-use nature of the area?  Southeast Venture commentary

I've been talking to Brett about this one a little bit.  There's a long story here that I won't get into yet.... but in the metro map there is a (theoretical?) alley that looks like it cuts through the existing parking.  How will that impact the development if at all?
