Owned by Zach Liff I do believe. He will soon be the owner of the land port across the street when the Metro Pedestrian Bridge agreement is finalized, and he owns Cummins Station as well as other land surrounding the Station. Can you say gold mine.

This morning I felt a bit uneasy with that telescoping hydraulic crane boom with that gantry extension, hanging over the city-bus I was on passing by.  The bus-driver couldn't get me past there fast enough, LoL.

What would be cool is for Nashville to get Amtrak service back and someone or the city build a new train station in that spot, and add shops and other amenities for travelers inside the new terminal.  I still hate that Nashville lost its Amtrak service.  With people seeking alternative travel options and with Nashville's proximity to other cities with Amtrak service it just seems to me it would be an excellent Amtrak city.  I guess that is a discussion for the transportation forum....

What would be nice is if they were to reassemble the train shed as part of some mixed use project.  I believe they saved the pieces when they tore it down.  Unless that was just more developer PR BS.

I don't know about saving pieces, but apparently the design was studied and saved.

Shot from intersection of Herron Drive and Interstate Blvd. on the SE side, not far from Travecca University.  Love the massing from this angle.  Hate the dang-blasted telephone poles and power lines!  Guh!

Take one and make it the Wikipedia picture for Nashville. I took one for Knoxville years ago and it's still being used (or was until recently, I haven't checked lately), and now it's used all the time in click bait articles and shows up in the Google search.
