If the white part of the sticks are any indication, they're looking grimy already. Time to call this a mistake, yank them out and put in a proper spectacular fountain that truly belongs there.

Interesting that I was having diner with friends last night and the subject of Stix came up.Universal consensus at the table was, what the hell were they thinking . Everyone hated it

Crews planted wildflowers and native grasses, but this is Tennessee so it won't be long before the weeds take over.

I think Stix is OK during daylight hours.  It is so poorly lit at night that it looks half-baked. With more powerful LED focused beams on each pole and bright light at the top of each, it would be much more intriguing in the evening.

Exactly.   It practically disappears at night.

Stix is a cool idea with a terrible execution.  If you're going to do it right, each stick needs to be made of something other than wood and at night, each stick needs to have programmable LED neon designs that can change with the mood of the seasons or events.  Could be a fun, cool, eclectic and electric work of art.  This is not.

nice video that shows the reservoir park and the core and surrounding areas. The best thing bout this vid is the scenery. Nashville's a real pretty city with the rolling hills (some which look like small mountains) and such.

 

oh and btw this vid a couple months old so yeah like you cant see the Skyhouse because it wasn't topped out then but still a great video.

The footprint of the new 222 office building under construction is huge , I'm hoping developers could start building more sleek taller buildings but I'm Glad we are getting new office towers just hoping for some creativity in the designs
