This is some great infill! It's not going to stand out too much, and will, with any luck, be bordered by development on the empty lot next to it, and (please for the love of god) also have some development on the Asurion lot that at least matches its height.

That is a question for Michael Hayes, but I suspect it will get developed when the right deal comes along. That is a special lot that will require a special project. I dont think he is in any hurry to develop it from my understanding.

We have so many areas in Nashville that can be developed that it is, as I have said before a blessing and a curse because we have so much available land.

It will be our parking lot at Asurion until we get our new HQ.  Then... it's all yours!!  We have squished so many people in this downtown building that we have three lots and we are running out of space.

The poor Hyatt Place. It feels so out of place and antiquated now.

I remember when it was first built. We all thought it looked suburban but at that point we appreciated the development and density. Now it seems like such a miss on their part.

Spaces office sharing company on the 17th floor is filling up.  When will the developers learn the lesson of Gulch Crossing, 222, and others?  Should have added a few more floors.

According to a company communication, we are losing 40 parking spots at the 2nd Ave parking lot as they prepare to straighten Molloy.  

As far as dates:   4/1 Fencing Going Up.  5/1 Construction Starts.  12/2020 completion.   <-- I am not sure if that's just the road or the hotel as well.

A demolition permit applied for to raze the one story structure on the 217 2nd Ave. South site.  Environmental Abatement will handle the demo.  Also, a permit has been issued to allow the straightening of Molloy St.  JE Dunn Construction is handling that job.

I don’t know how. I don’t know why.  But those massive potters with those nasty trees have an irrigation system in them.  I’ve seen the one at the 2nd ave entrance on before.

First time post here.  The crews are demolishing the old Listening Room Building.   Have been watching utility relocation for weeks, but glad to see this move forward.
