It's sad that Nashville's downtown lighting scheme is coming from Grand Hyatt.... and a NES station.

Actually, the walk down 11th at night will be very entertaining!  Grand Hyatt, Asurion, NES, and what may be coming from the other towers in the works.

Do these NES lights change colors or patterns?

Gulch Crossings never resumed their light strip, correct?

Not to negative, but as a safety concern; the white lighting on the NES building will blind you, while driving past at night

I haven't seen it in a long time.  One of the stairs broke a couple of weeks ago and caused major headaches for thousands of tourist.  The lights under the stairs are still on.

900 2nd Ave. Townhomes is the working name for a large residential project that appears to be going on the 5.83 acres at 900-1000 2nd Ave. North site that had been home to Tennessee State Dept. of Children's Services as well as State/County Social Security  Services before being heavily damaged by the March 2020 tornado.  The remaining structure (pictured below) will be razed for this new project.  Water and sewer permits have been applied for by the as yet unnamed developer.

Excellent timing on this story (and your post), Mark. I just walked by the site yesterday and wondered what was going there.

111 Broadway (4 stories, 50,000 sq. ft. home to Rock Bottom Brewery, Big River, and Glen Campbell Museum) has sold to Continental Realty Corp. for $36 million (about 8.5 times what it las sold for 15 years ago).  They plan on keeping everything as is.

Flank, Inc. has purchased the vacant .8 acre lot at 125 11th Ave. North for $16 million to increase their holdings in the North Gulch area.  They now have  75% of that block in their control (to go along with the parcel where Gibson Residences is getting underway), as well as the plot a block to the south where they will build the Edition Hotel.

“We do not yet have a formal plan for the site, but it will be a mixed-use project that will be complimentary to our residential tower at 1111 Church and the Nashville Edition," Flank emailed the Post. "We are excited to expand our footprint in the Central Gulch.”

Another tower along Church Street, please.  This area needs its own name.  Amazon Row.  Gibson Gulch.  This calls for some creativity.  @titanhog, please?
