Hope they still build both of them. 

I'd think it's safer to say the condo tower will be built, in between the Hyatt and the Pinnacle.

The 600 footer office tower though I'm sure remains in stalled/hold position for a long time. Unless they change it to mixed usage and/or land a tenant.

Sean's first photo shows why I've remained excited about Pinnacle even as many have lamented it's appearance and doubted its 500' height.  This tower represents a uniqueness we haven't seen and I hope it ushers in more and more!

Sean's second photo gives a perception/illusion of NY City type tower density!  Shucks, if ole Snoddy wasn't peaking out, you might not even know this was Nashville!

AEG's music venue (4,500 capacity, 125,800 sq. ft.) has landed another permit for ongoing construction.

The four-story performance venue will offer a main lobby area with commercial space on the first floor, and the venue’s stage and balcony will span over the second and third floors.  It will also offer multiple bars, as well as an open rooftop that guests can access.

Construction is expected to be complete by the end of this year.

It looked better in original renditions, seems like they are going for the LB crowd with this multiple bars and rooftop vibe. Was kinda disappointed to hear this, wanted a more unique experience not just an extended version of the same style of the Honky Tonks of LB . 

AEG , has some great venues around the world. Thought having them involved would make this something special.

AEG hosts the Grammies in Los Angeles. It would be awesome if they came to Nashville one year. They did come to Nashville in the 70s at the Tennessee Theater in the Sudekum Building on Church Street. So, there is a precedent.

Underwhelming IMO.  Sort of third year architecture student effort.

Looks like ALL the value engineering, went to this building. Southwest Partners / AEG pitched this as a high class transformative project, lots of fancy stuff and an elevated atmosphere. And now it seems as we are getting a big boring grey box , filled with the Lower Broadway crap of bars and a rooftop “gathering place “ same old story

Unfortunately, this new venue will not be set up for something as high-end as the Grammys.  From what I understand, there will only be seats in the balcony.  The main floor will be set up for standing only. 

However, Bridgestone Arena has proven to be very adaptable to large awards shows, and would still be a great option.
