I think it is probably more of the same, which means those ugly little homes! I have not seen anything major for that area except for just rows and rows of those Malibu Homes.  The area in blue is probably under construction as well and if it is, let me know. I think it is more of the same.

Things are finally starting to move forward for the mixed-use project at 405 40th Ave. North (6 stories, 103 units, 6,000 sq. ft. of retail) by CA South.  They finalized the purchase of the 1.92 acre site for $7.25 million in March. Previously a different developer had envisioned a 5 story, 152 unit structure for the site.  Alex Pettas Architecture and H. Michael Hindman Architects are overseeing design; Avenue Construction will be the contractor. Demo of 5 small non-historic industrial buildings on the site is slated for this summer, and groundbreaking should be by year's end. A block rendering is below, with more dimensional views coming shortly.

I wish they had buried those power lines. Can anyone here explain the scenarios where developers are required to bury the power lines and the scenarios where they are not required to do so? How is that decision made?

The developers of the parcels along Division in the south gulch weren’t required to bury those lines, so I’d be shocked if those requirements existed outside of the Downtown core.
