Noticed it was also the Defoor brothers who have developed shopping centers around the area. It should be a really cool hotel if they keep the same sort of floor layouts.

For a moment there, I thought this was the office building out by Briley Parkway near the former entrance to Nashville's pre-1987 Airport terminal.

Titans president was recently quoted as saying "they were nowhere close to having the conversation of a new stadium."

The Grammy Gallery is now open as part of the Musicians Hall of Fame at Historic Municipal Auditorium.  Yet another attraction that has music theme for downtown.  Hopefully these continued connections with the Grammy Board of Directors will bear some fruit eventually for Nashville to host the Grammy Awards with some regularity, along with LA and NYC.

I bet, just like with the NHL, once they hold the Grammys here, I bet they'll be wanting to host it here more often.  We just seem to throw a good time and are very hospitable, which goes a long ways.

That picture just goes to show how badly an infrastructure update is needed for lower broad. Too many lanes of traffic, and too few feet of sidewalk. It's just dangerous at this point.

They could even just close down Broadway and keep the cross streets running...and that would help.  Seems like a no-brainer.

No surprise, but Nashville's MSA now exceeds 1.8 million, as of 2015. The TN State Data Center is notoriously slow in their data collection, so this number through 2016 could be close to (or exceed) 1.9 million.

I do like the big windows... and brick exterior.  When in doubt, just compare to the Cadence building (yuck!). 

Has there been any recent news about the Stockyards project?  That one looked quite nice to me.

So...the apartments can be Nashville red brick...but the baseball stadium can't.

It could turn out pretty good, because computer rendered brick has never looked all that great. It's a very Camden Yards/industrial lofts vibe.
