Looks like it! That is by far my favorite part of this thing. I like the roofline too.

Updated AC Hotel Renderings. 

So, while I'm liking this project slightly more now that I see a 3d rendering, I just want to show y'all the AC Hotel being built in my hometown, Spartanburg. I only share this to show that good traditional architecture IS possible in this day and age. It has a restaurant on the ground floor and a rooftop bar.

Disappointed that the lovely brick and mason hotel is not going to be in Charlotte. I love the roof top. Guess I'm more into traditional architecture. That steel and glass thing they are adding in Charlotte.... Meh.

Wonder if it will really be white?  The whole complex in the rendering is white, which we know is really beige in real life.  I do like the finished streetscape.

Ahh man...Why did you have to bring that up. 

I know something like that is not possible at Epicenter due to the base structure and I do like the new renderings much more than I did the old ones, but seeing the Spartanburg AC Hotel makes me sad.  It's such a lovely building; I wish Charlotte developers would build something-anything-that looks like that.

I was coming to terms with Charlotte Beige stucco until I saw those renderings.

I have an unsettling feeling that this little endeavor will just turn into the same annoying kiosks that we see in the mall. Can't wait to stroll through Epicentre only to have an e-cig crammed in my mouth, someone beg to clean the ring that I'm not wearing, and some guy fly a cheap remote control helicopter around me in the hopes that I'll buy it. Hopefully I'm wrong but I doubt I am.

I still haven't found a reason to go to the epicenter. I go other places uptown like concerts at Time Warner and....um.....well.....I guess thats it.  I do plan on taking the Concord Express in to the city one morning and literally spending the day uptown. 

Take in a movie or two, take some pictures, sit and watch people. Check out the ballpark and regular park across from it. Check out all the new construction, Go to the Bechtler and Mint. I think all of that could take up a day when you throw meals in.
