  1. No, where the Business Park is at Clanton & Tryon Top left box, page 6 of this PDF https://carync.app.box.com/s/o2lockq82x1yg8pkd3qozawvrhwjggoa/file/1250684254273
  2. In a laughably long process there will be a stop and ability to cross by the Publix. This is from 2022, says construction start end of this year and ready by 2026 lol.. I'm sure you could find examples from even well before, I feel like it's been discussed since the Publix opened if not earlier. https://www.axios.com/local/charlotte/2022/08/15/new-light-rail-stop-in-south-end-planned-to-stop-illegal-crossings-305378 Edit: For "fun" further down Google, from 2018.. https://www.wbtv.com/2018/10/18/leaders-debate-adding-another-light-rail-stop-southend/ 2016: https://www.axios.com/local/charlotte/2016/01/26/there-could-be-a-new-light-rail-stop-coming-by-the-publix-and-sycamore-35504
  3. There was quite the Reddit thread so take it FWIW but a few "highlights". Reports of trying to bypass ALE laws in NC. Other comments on inconsistency of kitchen being open during weekend or when open lack of full menu. This last part my wife and I experienced trying to go one night ~7pm, had menus out and could see people in the kitchen window but when we went to order food we were told the kitchen was closed. https://www.reddit.com/r/Charlotte/comments/18igioe/weathered_souls_brewery_recently_expanded_to/
  4. Supposedly going to start in March, we'll see.. https://www.constructionjournal.com/projects/details/45c131edc3c544c7afcfd292eb599ed1.html
  5. I was going to say between Inizio and E&S as well as Not Just Coffee being a part of this and now also having their separate brand Night Swim it seems like a pivot back for the owners to their core competencies. It always seemed to be doing well when I went or walked by on weekends.

  7. Stay active/set alerts. Deals are out there but you have to act quickly. My wife and I got tickets for CLT-FRA round trip for $630 per person for a trip this coming April. But it took a good bit of patience and then when we saw that price come up we immediately bought. The next day it was back around $1300ish
  8. Plus an Old Fashioned costs close to $20 and their $4 High Life is really a pony bottle. Same one The Ugly sells for $1.50. We have a friend that owns one of the food options at MM so we'll be back but maybe just to eat. Sorry for the old man "get off my lawn" vibes in this post but we couldn't believe the bar prices. But can't blame 'em if people are willing to pay it
  9. Wonder if RAM's redevelopment of the business park has movement given this tweet..
  10. I think it's her rapid ascent to a C-level position with no information being provided on what makes her qualified to do the job. Especially since recent departures like Tom Glick or Nick Kelly at TSE had an extensive CV in sports business. Then layer in the albeit slap on the wrist violation for not doing the training to be credentialed during a coaching search, her involvement in the war room of a draft you can watch on the team show "Blueprint" and then recent appearances at practice "coaching up" the offensive line. All publicly available examples.. Again if credentials warranted her role I don't think gender or being his wife would matter. It's just literally the fact no information on her qualifications is out there makes the team look more like a clown show.
  11. For sure, these alone would be celebrated. It's the meddling in decisions with rumors of dissent between Young (Tepper's) and Stroud (Front Office/Coaches) or being swindled by smooth talkers (Ruhle/Zoran). Hiring his wife into leadership and then not knowing league rules to certify her role in the coaching search. Not following other expansion teams successful MLS model of building through familiarity with the cap, academy and league rules but hires a player agent as sporting director with cocky statements like "if you can play against Holland, you can play in Salt Lake" The constant turnstile of executives at TS&E. Getting rid of team traditions (e.g., KEEP POUNDING) before games. The Rock Hill and Eastland fiascos, saying laying off people early in COVID was a "human decision". Extra events for our city is absolutely celebrated but literally everything else about the guy has been less than ideal.
  12. Let's convince him to split the difference of Ballantyne and Uptown and just build out the 15-20 story office building at LoSo Station
  13. Couple non paywalled sources. I appreciate their optimism on light rail in Matthews in the rendering. https://www.qcnews.com/news/u-s/north-carolina/mecklenburg-county/matthews-development-hopes-to-capitalize-on-future-light-rail-soccer-stadium/ https://www.matthewsnc.gov/files/documents/2022-759StaffReport710231318112444070723AM.pdf
  14. I didn't realize the NC State Fair opens up a temporary train station just outside of Gate 2. My brother in law and I were chatting last night about hearing more regarding the state fair this year then prior years (at least for us).. Either way I went on to look at the Amtrak options and most days the earliest and end of day return options are all sold out. Awesome to see the ridership in our state, hopefully as we've all said that leads to more options and faster service. https://www.amtrak.com/stations/nsf
