They were digging at the lower level this afternoon, not much action on the upper part today.

The higher part on the corner is lower than it was a few days ago and they're still drilling up there.  I noticed on the lower area where they had dug quite a bit deeper recently that it's been filled in with rocks.  If you look at a few of the photos above you can see the hole that was there and today it's gone.  They were also cleaning up some of the rocks on the lower level with that little bulldozer.

Just walked by Alcove and Prime, and the scale of this project is going to be absurd. Alcove feels massive in this space already it’s going to be awesome to see the still rise so high on this one!

Today they were dumping dirt from the top section into the lower section which seemed kind of strange but I guess it will end up being hauled away.  It also looks like they're going to do more blasting on the lower section again in the area where the tower will be located.

Looks like they are really ramping up construction!! Tons more equipment and they are ready to start structural elements soon, I would think.

Hoping your perspective is more representative of the truth than mine.  I'm trying to understand how such a small (by area) and shallow hole is taking so long to complete.  I'm hoping my perspective is being colored by my desire to finally see a new tallest rise.  #skittish

Yeah, There seems to be a lot of “activity” (moving dirt around) but not any progress.  I hope I’m wrong but I’m suspicious it’s becoming another 1001.

Based on the schematics, the foundation will be unusually shallow for a building that size. But from the pictures everybody is posting it looks like the digging is even shallower than the schematic.  If I were standing at the edge of the pit, I’m sure it would look much more impressive.

That's my point.  Every day since January for a very small and shallow footprint.  Yet, we're now in July and it's still not complete (the hole).  Doesn't make sense to me; granted I'm a novice.

I just took these photos ten minutes ago and the site is very busy on both the upper and lower levels.  The upper level is significantly deeper than it was a week or so ago and they're also expanding the deepest part by digging away at the side of the upper level.  I see that they also removed a large pile of dirt that was there a few days ago and they've moved those blast blankets down below to continue more blasting down there.  They're definitely going at this project at full speed.  There are a lot of small sites that seemed to take forever to get through that solid rock so I don't see any issues based on the activity that's taking place.  I've also been concerned at times about this project because it's the largest by far but I'm feeling good about it!

Thanks again MontanaGuy, that’s some solid rock! It definitely takes a little more time to get though that. Also why keep spending more money and time , if there’s any issue that’s going to hold this up. If that was the case , I think we would see the equipment taking away , plus what about the Y half their building is now gone.

Also, don't forget who is behind it--Giarratana. 

His track record is grade A++.

We ain't talking an unproven developer here.

Also, if it were commercial space mixed in, or even hotel mixed in, I might have more skepticism. 

But the fact it is all residential, in a VERY hot demand Nashville residential market, especially downtown.

And also, it sits right beside the amenity-laced live/work/play Nashville Yards development, This thing will be built, I think.

Things have changed significantly since last week, they've dug away at the upper section to the point where it's all becoming the same depth as the lower part.  They're hauling off truckloads of rock as a result and digging ever deeper.

I'd think actual detailed listings wouldn't start showing up until sometime in mid 2024, roughly.- Tower probably won't be completed until 2025.

Any news on that possible TSU tower that would intersect the 1010 tower and the Tennessee tower? 

It's neat how it compliments the Tennessee tower and extends the grid from the Nashville Yards complex.
