The Gossett at Church St. and George L. Davis Blvd. has sold by Pollock Shores (the developer) for $101.5 million.  It opened just a little over 2 years ago, and cost $80 million to build.  The buyer has not been revealed yet.

The wife and I walked up 12th Ave S to the corner where this picture was taken, then to 11th and back to Terrazzo (corner of 12th and Division).  That area is undergoing massive changes - 1200 Broadway, Pins, Asurion, Flank Hotel, Highlands at The Tennessean.

I hope the catch these thugs and they get charged and convicted of murder and not man slaughter or murder in the 2nd. When you beat someone already out and on the ground that is intent. We dont know what the fight was about but with the Pride fest in town it could very well be hate related too.

I sure hope it was nothing like that.  I mean, either way, it’s disgusting....but really hoping it’s not also some type of hate crime.

Police are saying the victim was homeless...according to his past arrest records.
