That would be right across from the old auto diesel school. Doesn't look right. I think this is 1401-1425 Gallatin Pike North Madison. That is also where Edgemeade Blvd is. 1

I saw this a couple weeks back on the EN Facebook page. I keep walking by expecting to see some form of activity and there has been zero movement so far. I am seeing the sign permit for the new signage has been applied for which is hopeful to moving things forward.

Saw the news that Skinny Dennis is going into 2635 Gallatin Ave. in 2024. Bold move of a NY "Honky Tonk" making its way to Nashville but have heard great things about this bar from multiple people. Also, noticed a lot of work going on at the building on the corner of Seymour and Gallatin by the Kroger gas station. Anybody have any idea what is going on there?

It may just be the angles of the photos - or lighting, or fencing, but it doesn't look very good (to me). It looks like it's been sitting there for 15 years - vacant and forlorn. Weathered, but not in a good way. I'm still disappointed that Music City Roots won't be calling this home. I'll drive over there this weekend and see it in person.

Popular Post markhollin
The 14 acre site at 1410 Dickerson Pike that primarily hugs I-24/65 that had been earmarked for a large residential development has been sold. Rethink Community, who had bought the land for $8.75 million in 2021, has now sold it to a new developer for $17.39 million. The Post says the buyer is Lennar Multifamily Communities of Charlotte, while NBJ states that it is Garrett Development out of Arizona. Rethink is going to retain another 7 acres for a mixed-use project they envision that will face Dickerson Pike. WebberThomas4
1200 Gallatin Avenue was a used car dealer up until 2021 and has sat vacant up until a few weeks ago when a new used car dealer moved in. The property is zoned MUG-A and used car dealerships are not allowed under MUG-A. Can someone explain how this is allowed to happen? I’m sure the use was grandfathered in for the previous dealer, but it has sat vacant for 2 years and the new business does not appear to be related.

But any SLIGHT change in use would be grounds for a complaint. 1
