  1. I like how this neighborhood has come along... even though it seems like they missed their target date for a lot of it by a couple years. Eager to see it completed.
  2. Thank you so much for the info! Hoping to make it to the meeting this evening as well.
  3. I live in the East Hill / Renraw area and there is a community meeting about Skinny Dennis coming into the neighborhood at the end of Carolyn. Big concerns over sound pollution (you live a block off of Gallatin, expect noise) but biggest concern appears to be parking. Skinny Dennis says it can hold up to 300 for a concert, Cobra can do 200 I think, but they have a larger lot. Is there info about the SP that they have submitted and what it entails? Trying to have some additional info, I am all for this bar/venue, and want people in the neighborhood to understand that not having 200+ parking spots is ok! Also, if there is anything I can read up on about a neighborhood applying for resident only street parking, or one side of street parking only, I would love a link to that.
  4. I walk by Nashville Plywood on Cherokee pretty often and it appears that they have vacated the property. I was able to find a couple mentions of a pending project there, but have there been any updates or mockups of what will be on the property?
  5. The guys doing the sign here yesterday about caused a disaster on Gallatin by throwing one cone out without any warning that they were taking over half a lane for their crane. Saw the news that Skinny Dennis is going into 2635 Gallatin Ave. in 2024. Bold move of a NY "Honky Tonk" making its way to Nashville but have heard great things about this bar from multiple people. Also, noticed a lot of work going on at the building on the corner of Seymour and Gallatin by the Kroger gas station. Anybody have any idea what is going on there?
  6. These renderings are hideous. Really would like to see a design change for these.
  7. Really happy this sale has closed, really eager to see when it will get started. I believe the deal initially had plans that allowed Lincoln Tech to remain on the property for up to a year on a "free lease" while they shop for new property.
  8. Thank you so much for that info! Really hoping the redevelopment happens.
  9. Haven't seen any updates in quite some time, but anyone have any info on next steps for the Lincoln Tech development? Even checked the Lincoln Tech site and it doesn't list anything of them finding a property to move to or anything. Live near there, hoping for some good development news. This stretch of Gallatin needs some change.
  10. Fully agree that the initial plans looked awesome and now that it is built, something doesn't really work. I think it is the location of it in Hermitage, just doesn't seem to fit the area. Maybe that will bring some change out there to not just being strip mall style buildings...
  11. Really, really excited for this project to get wrapped up and for them to begin booking shows. Should be an awesome room.
  12. I really like this development. Only thing I really wish is that there was some type of pedestrian connector at the end of Fairwin.
  13. Sean Parker was asked on the East Hill FB Page about delays and what neighbors that support (or don't support) this deal can do to voice their opinions. His response: They have not even filed a zoning change application yet. There will be community meetings where residents can learn about the plan and offer feedback. The most important opportunity will be the Planning Commission hearing which is not yet scheduled. They have to file a zoning change application first.
  14. Eager to see what comes of this. I go by it almost daily, and the progress seems stalled. Haven't walked back and looked into the hangar area though.
