Ben Allen Ridge at 301 Ben Allen Rd. will be made up of seven 4 story buildings featuring 238 affordable apartments on 10.7 acres. Clear Blue Company is the developer and they will invest $65 million for the construction. Land has already been cleared, and construction is imminent.  A 24 month timetable for completion is planned.

Salt Ranch (renovation of 1850's era mansion and 1950's era motel into East Nashville's only mid-luxury boutique hotel) has landed a $1.18 million permit to begin construction. Pfeffer Torode Architecture is in charge of design.

I went and met up with the Event Coordinator at Riverside Revival and she gave me a tour of their upcoming restaurant they are building out and hope to be open to the public by next year. It's going to be beautiful and I'm so excited to have it within walking distance of my house. The concept is going to sit in the basement level of the building, but it has tons of windows, so it's still getting great natural light. More info to come!

Also, it's worth noting that I'm excited overall for what they are planning for the future of RR-- they are upgrading the cathedral area to help mitigate the acoustics better and plan on having more shows there. It's really wonderful to think about being able to walk down there to have dinner and drinks and then walk upstairs to catch a show-- this place is a dream!

Interesting item popped up on the Register of Deed’s website on Friday.

701, 705 and 709 Main Street (building that housed the UPS store and the subway prior to the 2020 tornado) is under contract with Omega Hotel Group, LLC. From what I can tell they operate the Holiday Inn Express in metrocenter and the Hyatt Place at the airport.

Oh man.... A chain hotel like that in EN may set off some serious alarm bells with folks. 4 to 5 stories (by-right) and removing the parking from the street would be a big improvement. With the slated upgrades coming to Main Street in the next couple years, I wonder how long this ownership group sits on the properties. @bwithers1has anyone reached out to you regarding this?

Unreal I looked though this thing 3 times and still missed it. Thanks! I usually just have the DeedWarrenty, Charters, and DOT's pulled up. Most everything else is kha kha.

More details are coming out regarding 714-730 Main (6 stories, 80', 56 units, 5,4334 sq. ft.. of retail/restaurant space,  internal garage). Richland Building Partners will be the developer thru their 730 Main Street LLC. Smith Gee is the architect. 

The property is located within MDHA’s East Bank Redevelopment District and, as such, design review committee approval is needed, and is slated to vote Aug. 1 on the concept plan.

Any update on the proposal for the site immediately to the east on Main Street? I thought that plan looks great with the courtyard and the pedestrian access between Woodland and Main. Plus, it looks to be an upscale residential building.

I believe you are referring to 800 Main. It has passed through Planning Commission and will be going before council.
