Asurion (9/11 stories, 8/10 stories, 550,000 sq. ft. office space) update. 2nd level of underground garage on NE quadrant about 30% done. Dig continues in southern section.

It's interesting how much this project is progressing like the Amazon project. Both are two building sites where the 1st building is far along on the parking portion and the 2nd is still in excavation mode. 

And they are right next to each other. It's going to be awesome seeing the area when all 4 buildings are done.

Counting the #2 base now in place for the Asurion site, there are currently 35 tower cranes in Davidson County.

Asurion has committed to moving 100 high-paying product development jobs from San Mateo, CA to  Nashville by the end of the year.  They will still retain about 50 employees in California. 

“The driving force behind the move is our desire for stronger collaboration,” said John Leonard, Asurion's senior vice president of global product management, in a statement to the Business Journal. “We believe that consolidating specific teams in one location here in Nashville will add significant value, strengthen collaboration and tighten alignment among employees.”

Green space? nice resting spot along the greenway. Good spot for some canopies and maybe a single spot for food truck or cafe pavilion? Would be great for workers who want to eat their lunch outside.

It would make a nice park for that area.  Don't know if that's their plan...but it would be my plan if I were in charge.
