The thing that irks me about the Bridal Suites is how it would be instantly better with a different paint color, better landscaping and cool branding. It wouldn't even be that expensive to improve it from being a total eyesore!!

I went and met up with the Event Coordinator at Riverside Revival and she gave me a tour of their upcoming restaurant they are building out and hope to be open to the public by next year. It's going to be beautiful and I'm so excited to have it within walking distance of my house. The concept is going to sit in the basement level of the building, but it has tons of windows, so it's still getting great natural light. More info to come! Also, it's worth noting that I'm excited overall for what they are planning for the future of RR-- they are upgrading the cathedral area to help mitigate the acoustics better and plan on having more shows there. It's really wonderful to think about being able to walk down there to have dinner and drinks and then walk upstairs to catch a show-- this place is a dream!

What's the timeline for this project? I agree: Eastland is prime for mixed-use development!

What a shame! Just sitting on land instead of it going to good use.

Well that's a shame. I've been waiting for them to finish that development since I moved down the street 6 years ago.

That's the same developer who has the postponed project in Riverside Village. What happened to that project?

Thank you! It's very interesting that all these event spaces are going in, especially a.) with covid and b.) the church right down the street being converted on Riverside and Cahal is supposed to be an event space, as well.

Nashville Post just posted about Fat Bottom coming to East, but I don't have a subscription with them. Can anyone post the article? Would love to read it.

I'm also curious about the daycare. Supposedly, a daycare will be going in.
