What's a condo?

When I was a kid I thought condom was the appropriate shortened version of condominium. Interesting factoid from my childhood.

It'd be awesome if it was 210 trade

It'd be awesome if it was condos and a hotel overlooking Romare Bearden. I think Romare Bearden is enough of a selling point these days to sell condos.

I don't believe it does.

On another note, I heard another rumor last night about a development firm looking into several areas of Charlotte with intentions of purchasing and developing. One of the concepts being a high rise uptown. Not sure of the use tho.

Hopefully a firm that isn't made up of undercover FBI agents...

Was the company named "Baseline"? If you ever hear of those guys proposing a project, call the FBI...oh wait... Edited by cltbwimob

This has been discussed a lot randomly over the years.  It was put in the plans as part of the center city transportation plan, as well as many other one- to two-way conversions.   4th, Mint, and Poplar two-way conversions were all funded as part of the deal for the BB&T ballpark, but the Poplar conversion lagged the other two because there were needed immediately in order for traffic flow to function after 3rd was removed on the ballpark land.
