I hope y'all are right, but I walked past it this morning and to me it looks just as "red clay-ie" as it did two weeks ago.  I really can't tell what they're doing on a daily basis.  Honestly, it looks like they keep moving the same bit of topsoil from one part to another.

So I walked by today, i noted on the 3rd street side the sidewalk is at an angle.........with benches on it???? Maybe they're not permanently there (couldn't tell) but that is a horrible place for a bench...youre going to be sitting sideways and sliding down.

It might just be MEH for a couple years, but once the trees mature and the flowers go through seasons, we will really really love this thing and it will be a great asset to the city.

Yeah the trees need to grow and the stone/brick needs to get worn in feeling, but I don't find it meh right now, I'm actually pretty pleased with it on the whole, especially how the art wall/water feature/center junction area is coming out.
