not to short change anyone else here, but I think you might be the standard setter here.  Lighting is key.  That prior shot I took from the Plaza could've been better but I had to focus in more for effect. of size ~ perspective.  This last one was pure happenstance b/c I was at Fed Ex Kinkos and turned around and was like...oh snap...here's a potentially good shot.

The key is night shots; you and another poster here have mastered those...

I'm sure you can see it from the 429/TNPL overpass.  except...snapping a shot from 90' up or so in moving traffic would be challenging...

That's exactly how I got this photo hehe. I was at the top of that overpass.

I get a lot of credit on the media sites I am on for my photography especially of land/cityscapes .People wish I'd do it professionally but it's a hobby. I enjoy it.  When we get more projects cranking I'm there.

I took up a “hobby” in college of doing headshots. I had absolutely no experience doing it but I made some cash.

It always amazes me how close buildings feel at street level -- like this and the old BOA -- but from afar the gap between them seems huge!

That's likely because the tower portions of both buildings are not at the edge of the block.  There's 3-4 story pedestals that get a lot closer to each other that make them seem close at the street level.
