  1. Sad, it was my Radio Shack for years, but sort of cool about the time circle of its existence. Mind you my partner was the techie in the household so I would show up there by myself with something written on a Post-It and give it to them. It usually worked out.
  2. I did one earlier this year and enjoyed it. Actually with a lot of out of towners that wanted to know more about our little city. Do it if you get a chance (a comment for everyone reading this).
  3. To be fair, NOBODY EVER expects the Spanish Inquisition
  4. Your comment made me think of what happened to the Flintstones
  5. Boy this resident just saved me a lot of typing. Being one of the first residents in that building I can validate EVERY SINGLE THING brought up is true. EVERYTHING. I signed up in July 2021. It’s a new building right? What could go wrong? (See above) Actually met someone who installed my kitchen cabinets and was told they were the cheapest. Luxury living? W/D, which were cheap to begin with, were water spotted like them were left out in the elements at one point. The luxury fridge, much to small to fit in the space built for it, had stainless steel coating on the outside which had jagged edges that actually drew blood at one point so I took a file and took care of that myself. I never got to take a bath because the tub stopper didn’t work and after 2 visits from the terrible rude maintenance guy and him leaving saying he would be back and the work order being closed I gave up. And on and on and on… Well I guess I ended up typing a lot anyways. A bad experience from start to finish. I feel cheated. But that’s on me. Just moved out. Good riddance to that good looking on the outside dump.
  6. Tuesday morning views from the Radius:
  7. I been taking these update for monthly comparisons on the 4th of each month but I noticed how pretty the sunset made the angle look this evening so I figured I would the pic today on the 3rd. I don’t believe I caught that lighting bolt! It’s a first for me in any picture I’ve taken! Anyways, another month of work has gone by and now the crane is gone.
  8. In the race for completion the spa has over taken the tea house in the area of, if you can make it out, interior walls: Tea: Spa:
  9. And add yet another month of progress. Compare the building’s top between the pics. In taking this just now I thought of what it must be like working on interior features in the August heat without air conditioning. Yikes!
  10. Hmm…putting some money in one of Orlando’s oldest and historical buildings huh? Well let me open this link so I can see how loving, classic, and respectful the few sparse buildings of our city are thought of and…OH MY GOD!!!…it looks like the Wonderworks building or something drove up from International Drive and puked on it! Seriously, really? C’mon…
  11. Oh to have access to batteries and a new joystick so close…
  12. New sign up as of Wednesday. I am preparing to unscratch.
  13. True. I'll make sure that I sit in the Radius's EPCOT Morocco Pavilion inspired landscaped plaza in the morning before the sun crests over the building, next to the plaza sculpture. Oh yeah scratch that. Never mind.
  14. This is news is great! I can sit in the Radius plaza and have a delicious cup of Taiwanese tea and watch the construction. Oh yeah scratch that. Never mind. Been waiting for that one for over half a year. >Sigh<
  15. Looks nice. It’s memory deserved maybe a little bit more dignity than a doggy poopy place. Thank you so much for the information.
  16. Question from the 2008 picture (and you have to zoom in for this): Does anyone know what the green building on the left after the Landmark parking garage housed? At the time of the pic some sort of office I guess because of the sign out front. Thank you. I was wondering what once was there where now my doggie goes poo, the Radius dog walk with a waste baggie station is in that area presently. And if any Radius people are reading this, just to let you know, I pick up every time. Radius people will appreciate the significance of that statement.
  17. Taken today.,,Shell update :
  18. I worked for the Mouse House 1983-89 starting when I was 17. In the beginning my drive to the Disney employee parking lot would take me off I4 at LBV, past the construction site of the Grand Cypress, and down winding roads through orange groves to the back of Disney property. I do miss those couple times a year I would driving those roads and rolling down the window, taking in that heavenly fragrance…ahhhh…the word “heavenly” doesn’t do that smell justice.
  19. Someone at the Radius is ready for Monday’s celebration
