I'd like to see the rust remain on that crosswalk if they don't have to paint it to preserve its structural integrity. I've seen old cars that have been restored with their rust  So much of Nashville has been glossified that a little gritty evidence of wear and age would be attractive (IMHO).

Clay Street Commons will two 3 story structures: one at 1919 9th Ave. North (31 units and 2,500 sq. ft. of ground floor retail), and the other across the street at 1924 9th Ave. North (30 units, and another 2,500 sq. frt. of ground level retail). The developers are Steve Armistead, Jared Bradley, andTim Morris.  They paid $2.28 for the parcels which encompass a total of 1.13 acres in late 2019.  Bradley Projects is the architect; Certified Construction is the contractor.  Work is set to begin within 2 months.

Extra Space Storage at 121 Madison St. is looking to expand with a 2 story, 29,600 sq. ft. addition on space of their lot that is currently used for surface parking.

Interesting that the Tyvek got installed on this job. The green "ZipSystem" product that was installed prior to the Tyvek is a weather barrier so it eliminates the need for the Tyvek. I wonder if we should expect Stucco wherever we see the Tyvek material as there is typically two layers of weather/moisture resistance placed behind stucco as one is a sacrificial layer.
