Yes, it is imposing from Rains.  It's also very prominent from Nolensville Pike. Can not wait for May 1st!

Really is a compliment to the neighborhood. I do wish the supporter section was a little more creative, maybe resemble the seating at The Grand Ole Opry, but $0 of my money went into this stadium build so I'll shut up and be thankful!

Nashville Soccer Club will partner with Metro to build its 3rd youth soccer "mini-pitch" on Metro land adjacent to Midtown Hills Metro Police Precinct at 1441 12th Ave. South in Edgehill.

Nashville SC has two mini pitches — one in North Nashville at the McGruder Family Resource Center, opened in 2019, and the other at the Tennessee Immigrant & Refugee Rights Coalition headquarters in Antioch, which opened in 2021.

The Edgehill mini pitch will likely be used to host youth and recreational soccer matches and double as an open space for community movie nights and outdoor festivals.

Work is underway right now, you can see it in this photo, to the right of the stadium.

Dang, I really do miss those rusty roofed, leaky, dilapidated sheds where I could buy a bulk pack of gently used tighty whities for pennies on the dollar. This is DEFINITELY worse.

With Congress Group and Centrum's developments in Sobro/Rutledge Hill, the skyline is creeping towards I40.

Nashville SC CEO Ian Ayre with updates on the $335 million MLS Stadium completion, which is ahead of schedule:

Last week, we installed the big "N" logo in the corner. It lights up at night and really brings identity. The finishes in the lounges and clubs and stuff are all starting to take place. The locker rooms are finished. Now, it's about getting through those final pieces ready for the handover in early April. That gives us the time to almost kind of dress the old lady for the big day on May 1. Probably the biggest piece of the final touches is the field and installing the actual grass onto the field that's being prepared. 

The grass will be put into place within the next few weeks. As I think most people know, it's being grown down in Georgia and will start to get pulled up down there and transported up here and laid. That'll be a great day because I think it brings a whole other level to the completion of the facility.

We are literally knocking on the door of 20,000 season tickets sold and we're some way from opening day. 

We saw in 2020, in that last couple of months, we sold a huge amount of season tickets in that final period. To put that into perspective as well, 20,000 – I'm pretty sure – puts us in the top five in MLS. So it's a big venue, bigger than a lot of venues. We've seen incredible support for it. There's less than 100 memberships left for premium seating in the whole building. Field level blocks are sold out. Almost all of the lower bowl is gone. Not all of it, but seats spotted around. The upper level is filling up.

Parking will be as it would be with any new venue, it's here at the stadium and it's all places around. We've been going around, not just dealing with the parking that we will control, but also looking at what else is a proposition from the second- or third-party parking.

Our aim is by early March, we will start to publish a guide for supporters and fans. If you have parking included in your deal, 'This is what it is. This is the best route to get there. This is the best route out. If you're not coming with a parking solution, here's what the solutions will be. Here's how you will buy parking, if you want to buy it from us. Here are third-party options. Here's where they all are. If you want to park this place, is how long it should take you to walk from there.'

It will be difficult and challenging because it always is with a new venue. Nobody's kidding anybody that it won't be confusing for some people at first. But I think all of us who've ever been to venues on a regular basis, if you don't park in the official parking, you kind of work it out right over a period of time and you find your place and it becomes your place and we expect a lot of that.

This might be the biggest concern about the stadium, and has been since the planning process. Like I get that they are "working it out" but I would've hoped that after the past couple years of construction they would already have a plan in place. Or they are purposely waiting and waiting and letting folks work out for themselves. This could cause a potentially big problem for the surrounding neighbors.

I was thinking they would at least try to build a parking garage along with the stadium to help…but I guess they’re going to just wait for that “help” once they have all of the other development finished.

I do believe a 1,500 parking garage is planned within the 10 acre development, but don't quote me on that. 

Personally I am going to take an uber and take the Nolensville exit. 

Parking is going to be a huge issue that won't get worked out until probably 5-10 years from now.

Oh it's gonna be a CLUSTER F. There has been zero infrastructure upgrades around the stadium. I'm not sure a single new sidewalk has been added outside of the Fairgrounds. 

I have no idea what the thought process behind that is. It's pretty disappointing, unless there is about to be a 3 month push to lay sidewalks everywhere.

I agree, but to be fair, Wedgewood Avenue extended to Craighead will help. Plus, I think you will be able to park at MNPS and the surface parking lots here shown below. I would personally just try and avoid wedgewood avenue at all costs.
