I have never heard of Randstad. I wonder what % of the 4,550 actually work in the county? I question Mars Petcare #s, as I heard from a few of their employees  that they went through a rough patch the last 6+ months and had a hiring freeze along with many leaving.

Mitsubishi announced today that their short-term home for their North American HQ will be at Al. Neyer's  new Spaces co-working hub structure at 3401 Mallory Lane. This will include roughly 150 open jobs across a range of departments (about 60 folks will be relocating from California).  They hope to locate their permanent home and be moved-in by spring of 2020.   One reasonable option might be the McEwen Northside development nearby that is nearly finished with its 180,000 sq. ft. office building.

This is already under construction and I believe Some of the framing was already up to the 3rd or 4th floor last week when I drove by.

While the plans are undisclosed, there could be some big things in the works to provide competition to St. Thomas Rutherford. Since the city is the anchor for the southeastern part of the metro area, it'd have quite the catchment area, particularly for counties like Cannon, Coffee, Warren, & others versus going all the way to the main VUMC.

A massive 5 story, 3.5 million sq. ft. warehouse/80,000 sq. ft. office development to be called Project Sam is being planned for 80 acres at the SW corner of Golden Bear Gateway and East Division in Mt. Juliet. It will be developed by the Panattoni Company. The occupant has not been revealed, but it will most certainly bring a significant number of jobs with it, as the 1,800 capacity parking lot suggests.

That's insane! That's 3x larger than the biggest warehouse in metro Nashville today
