They're digging quite deep for a plaza. Maybe there's environmental remediation (a scary thought for a school site), but it sure looks like they are digging for a foundation.

I was thinking that they were being more sloppy than they had to be, but if you say the brick was in bad shape, I believe you. Still, it is disappointing and honestly, I dont have high hopes for the types of businesses that will go in there.

The owners of The Green Bar, which is on probation from city officials due to drug-dealing on its premises, have won some more time to get a better grip on their business.
