Anybody know when and where this is going? Haywood Mall?

Those are some very high end stores. Looks like it will last two months. More from Forbes:

In Raleigh they are setting up shop at the North Hills outdoor mall. We don't have anything similar to that here. I really hope they take over a vacant parking lot downtown.  I think that would be really cool.

The operation of a restaurant would be a challenge though, so yeah maybe it's more likely to either go to Haywood or perhaps Magnolia Park

Good article by the Post and Courier today about this:

BTW, noticed the other day that their office is now open in the West End.. not sure how recent that is. It looks nice.

Downtown was absolutely packed today, including the restaurants and the retail shops. We visited the King Arthur pop up shop for the first time today. The place was filled with people that were spending money. I hope Greenville shows it was worthwhile for them to be here so they will be back, maybe permanently.

There sure aren’t many available retail spaces on Main Street left. The only ones I can think off the top of my head:

-Former Jersey Mike’s

-Former Crème Shack

-Former Snack Works

-One space at Homewood Suites

-Bottom floor of Carolina Ale House

-Space next to Sofrito’s/The Goat

Now officially just The Goat on both sides (dining room and bar), but regarding the space next to it I did see someone looking at it Tuesday and heard them say 'You'd think after seeing it this many times I would know the space by heart' so hopefully someone is heavily interested.

Ha! "Charcuterie"  never has that word come out of so many mouths until it became so trendy to do so.

They're only open four days a week for half the day. I don't see how that will be sustainable long term...

I don’t know, but that may very well allow them to be adequately staffed with a slim crew to make it work well. Better than being understaffed and not cutting it. Who knows?!

For the old iStore: https://shopaugustine.com

Post & Courier is reporting that Crème Shack is going to be locating in what is currently Blaze Pizza. Makes no sense to me. I thought they were reopening in their old spot. :dontknow: https://www.postandcourier.com/greenville/business/under-new-ownership-cr-me-shack-plans-return-to-downtown-greenville-in-pizza-spot/article_c6cce162-8dff-11ee-8584-7f2435e8ebe1.html

Retail vacancy drops to record low:

Overall vacancy in the Greenville-Spartanburg retail market dipped to a post-pandemic low of near 3 percent as more residents and retailers continued to move into the region.

According to a third quarter 2023 report issued by Colliers South Carolina, overall retail vacancy in the Greenville-Spartanburg area stood at 3.04 percent--a far cry from the 10.81 percent of mid-2020, and the lowest such reported figure since the Covid-19 pandemic has ebbed. Overall retail vacancy in the region stood at 4.2 percent in the third quarter of 2022, the commercial real estate agency reported.

Submarkets with the lowest third-quarter retail vacancy rates included Travelers Rest (0 percent), Fairview Road in Simpsonville (.08), Clemson Boulevard (.34), Haywood (.38) Wade Hampton in Greer (.40), Augusta Road (.51) and Five Forks (.65).
