We were and it was warranted. They have certainly shown out for the 25th anniversary so far and I suspect they have gotten some help, preferrential treatment, because of it being the 25th anniversary. The real test will be will it continue?

Yes. The music industry was in a transition following Covid. BSA’s management is one of the best and it was just a matter of time before they got the shows to Greenville. We live in one of the best cities in the nation for quality entertainment.

Furman will not play any home games at the Well this year as in years past, but plans to play most if not all home games at the Well next year while Timmons Arena is being renovated.

Greenville will be the first stop on Heart's tour.

From February 14th-25th there are 12 events and three of them (Journey, Andrea Bocelli, and Stevie Nicks) are sold out concerts. Great to see. The hotel prices downtown are definitely insane during those concert dates. Lol. 

SEC Women’s basketball tournament which will once again bring great exposure to the city is in three short weeks also.

The SEC Commissioner is in town and had a lot of praise for the city on the SEC Network. Mentioned how beautiful it is and how far it’s come since 2005 when the city first hosted the tournament. The tournament will be back next year with two additional teams (Texas and Oklahoma). Nashville will host it in 2026 but the commissioner did say they will be back in the near future. He also said this is the first time Saturday and Sunday’s games have ever been sold out in the history of the tournament. Don’t forget that Greenville will be hosting the men’s first and second rounds in 2026 also.
