  1. Forgive me if I missed it; but did Silver completely pull out? I had an emergency down in Tampa and tried to find a flight quickly on Saturday, putting all options on the table. And when I went onto the Silver website, GSP doesn't even show up. And I see no Arrivals/Departures from them.
  2. As a resident in the Mills right now, you can find better. Yes, the 20+ foot ceilings make you feel like you're in a big apartment; but the rules for trash/smoking/etc make you feel like you're in a prison. Unfortunately I had to renew due to not wanting to move into a new apartment for a few months (might get a job transfer to FL in a few months), so I'm stuck here. Look at the place across the street lol
  3. That's what I thought when GSP added them. Easier to just connect. That's how I did it last year when I went to WrestleMania in LA. CLT to BNA then BNA to LGB (as it was $166 cheaper there instead of LAX). Will definitely be using it for connections in the near future.
  4. If only PHL started a week earlier for all the WrestleMania fans

  6. Man, I wish Breeze was here last April for my WrestleMania trip out there. Had to pay an arm and a leg just on Southwest via CLT (CLT-BNA-LGB [way cheaper than LAX] ) for about $500 something. I think AA and Delta were in the $700s lol. So excited to take them to always go out there to see friends now.
  7. https://www.wspa.com/news/local-news/gsp-announces-new-airline-with-nonstop-destinations?utm_source=wspa_app&utm_medium=social&utm_content=share-link im excited for LAX. I’ve been taking delta from ATL, or Southwest via CLT many times to see friends. Cannot wait to start using Breeze now for weekend trips
  8. Plus the routes they do are weird too. Hartford, CT to Los Angeles? Charleston to Los Angeles? Those two are very unnecessary to go out west. No way those flights are full. I can understand the smaller routes (on the East Coast); but the cross country ones are killing them I bet.
  9. That is shocking as Austin is rapidly growing each day population wise. I can see Bozeman, Vail, Liberia, and a few more to get axed because who even goes daily on those cities. Curious 365 days from now what the numbers will be.
  10. WSPA doing some nice coverage on many things GSP Southwest to Denver: https://www.wspa.com/news/local-news/southwest-adding-flights-from-gsp-to-denver-in-2024/?utm_source=facebook.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=socialflow&fbclid=IwAR3E64c3Jaup2OIIaxH1b7l2ZoFU9CcYqXTZwBvB8I8LDmco2wQllAcR9QY Construction Updates: https://www.wspa.com/news/local-news/gsp-airport-enters-new-construction-phase-will-impact-holiday-travelers/ NOT GSP, but Downtown Airport: https://www.wspa.com/news/local-news/greenville-city-council-adopts-airport-district-plan/

  13. Feels like we were all piling on BSA's management for not finding the "right stuff". Boy how we changed in the last 90-120 days
  14. I was not aware CLT had a huge lead over ATL in flights. I would think it was total opposite. Speaking of ATL, took the 11pm flight yesterday back to GSP and it was completely booked. Absolutely shocked to see that. AA via CLT came in at the same time and baggage claim was jammed. With that being said, it took me 94 minutes to find a Uber/Lyft. I understand it was a Sunday Night and maybe the Friday/Saturday drivers are not out there; but I was quite disappointed on drivers not taking advantage of this. I had an Uber driver accept my trip who was at Falls Park. Had to wait 22 minutes for him. I hope Uber/Lyft drivers see the opportunity

  16. Looking for a name for the pedestrian bridge. Submissions are due September 5th: City of Mauldin Seeking Public Input on Name for Pedestrian Bridge Over I-385 Name submissions due by Sept. 5 at noon MAULDIN, S.C. — The City of Mauldin is seeking public input on a name for the pedestrian bridge over I-385, which is slated for completion in late August or early September. The bridge will serve as a major connection point in the City, linking the BridgeWay Station development with the greater Mauldin community and eventually connecting to the Swamp Rabbit Trail. Pedestrians will be able to access the bridge through the Mauldin City Trail, a 0.25-mile paved trail located on East Butler Road across from Mauldin High School. “This pedestrian bridge is a major accomplishment for the City of Mauldin, and I believe it will become a focal point for our community,” City Administrator Seth Duncan said. “In the spirit of community and connection, we now ask for the public’s help in naming what will become South Carolina’s next iconic bridge.” The City will accept name submissions until September 5 at noon. Submissions can be made via the City’s Facebook and Instagram pages, emailed to Communications Manager Lauren Carter at [email protected] or submitted via this form: https://forms.gle/wqMaTxq12NCiCtwL6. Bridge names should be unique and reflect a connection to the City of Mauldin, its history or its future. Names that are vulgar, profane, discriminatory, derogatory or sexual in nature will not be considered. Name submissions will be reviewed by City Staff, and the top names will be recommended to Mauldin City Council. Once selected, the new name will be featured on a commemorative plaque for the bridge. Contributions are voluntary, and submissions do not guarantee the submitter any particular recognition, award or favor from the City. The City of Mauldin partnered with BridgeWay Station developer Hughes Investments, Inc. to create the bridge, and construction began in June of 2022. More information about the pedestrian bridge is available here: https://cityofmauldin.org/construction-underway-on-the-new-pedestrian-bridge-over-i-385/.
  17. AEW's new show is almost sold out for Saturday's Event. Barring that they only opened the 100 section and floor. Would be a good turnout for their first event in Greenville ever (only WWE has been here)
  18. I am one of them. When I want to not take Delta down to Tampa, I go there for Allegiant as they go down to Tampa twice a day everyday. If GSP wants to change to everyday and not just Monday's and Friday's I will gladly take my business back to GSP. But for now, only Delta is my go-to GSP flight at the moment.
  19. I was talking to my fiance about this last night. We were going through the Jonas Brother's Tour schedule and they only have one South Carolina stop. And it's Columbia. I just laugh that we have big names going to Columbia with a 137k population. At least we get Tim McGraw...right..?
  20. I originally came on here to talk about how impressed that almost All GSP to ATL or ATL to GSP flights are almost full. My flight from ATL to GSP was booked full with a huge standby list. It's quite impressive and love it.
  21. Absolute a beast of a plane. Coming back from Tampa this morning and got lucky with Delta via ATL just landing when taxiing. We were delayed about 5 minutes for the crew to come guide us in the gate so I had a perfect spot. But because of the size, it took them forever to get to the end of the runway to take off . And of course right when we started to get guided in, it took off. Took off at 9:23am and it landed down in Salvador, South America around 7pm IMG_6458.mov IMG_6459.mov
  22. For parking, reserve your spot on the website. You save a few bucks doing it. I got jipped this weekend because I reserved it, but the QR Code didn't work and just took a ticket. Coming out this morning, the QR code still wasn't working so I had to pay the $54 for Garage A. So I paid $48 for Reserve then that. I emailed them and they are refunding me the $48 because "Lightning hit the garage and took out the system" ((Which I don't believe lol)). But this was the only problem. The other 5-6 times I've used it, it's worked perfect.
  23. I will fly out of GSP always. It was just a spontaneous/booked less than 24 hour trip last week that Delta was through the roof and the only option was AVL. I fly out to Orlando tomorrow morning at 5:30am via Delta because I didn't waste last minute to book lol. And GSP will get my money until further notice (minus me going to Los Angeles in August as I'm driving to Atlanta to save $200 on a Delta Flight from ATL-LAX lol).
  24. I flew out of Asheville this weekend (AVL to PIE [St. Pete] via Allegiant) because I wasn't going to pay an arm and a leg on Delta (as Allegiant only flies to St. Pete on weekdays). The amount of mayhem going there right now makes GSP look like a World Class Airport. Parking is dreadful and I had to park in a gravel lot (that I believe they just created) and had to take a shuttle. Half the airport is closed (gates 8 - 14) due to construction, meaning they are cramming everyone on one side. And the funniest thing is, because they board everyone outside, they are putting 2 planes to a gate. St. Pete & Orlando were leaving at the same time and they delayed Orlando so we can board because "we can't board at the same time". It's just laughable. I mean, I hope when it's all finished, it will look phenomenal. But as of right now, I'll be paying the Delta Prices to fly out of here for a few years until the dumpster fire is fixed. That being said, I'm heading down to MCO this weekend via Delta Saturday Morning (thank you 530am flights). Makes you appreciate on what you have here in Greenville.
  25. ATL on Saturday mornings hanged. Usually took off around 5 now the earliest is 7:03am
