  1. Anyone know what the 2 fast food places at the old Nick’s car wash location will be? I think one is going to be a Popeye’s(not sure) and the other looks like a Starbucks but surely not since there are 3 other Starbucks within a mile. TIA
  2. Chick-fil-a Haywood opens tomorrow.
  3. Yep the so-called gas shortage was the biggest hoax ever put on the American public.
  4. Is this Greer or Greenville? The 2 hotels next door and across the street both have Greenville addresses. edit: I looked it up it is Greenville.
  5. Yep I buy a product regularly at the grocery store it has gone up 20% in the last 2 weeks. I’m afraid this project will never get started but so far the chain link fence is holding up pretty well.
  6. I do too. Just hope we live long enough to see it or see it resold again. Sorry to not be my normal positive self, but after 26 years…….
  7. Pretty sure one isolated experience doesn’t mean a whole chain with hundreds of stores has gone bad, does it?
  8. Reading between the lines, Roca Point bit off more than they could chew and this explains why construction has stopped. With this new joint venture who knows when/if construction will start up,again.
  9. Give him time, it’s only been 15-20 years.
  10. Has work stopped or been delayed for some reason? Been by 3 times in the past 2 weeks and there is some equipment and a few pickups but no workers, no work being done.
  11. In Charleston maybe but not Greenville, promises, promises. delays, delays, like I said when they put up the chainlink fence. It will be rusty before anything happens.
  12. Excatly, its good for people with money but not for the everyday working class.
  13. Money is money. Size doesn’t matter in this case. Developers in Atlanta have resources or whatever you want to call it to get things done. Developers in Greenville have to wait for a certain interest rate, or whatever to get started. Excuse after excuse. If the developers don’t have the means to get going why not wait until they have the resources to get going instead of announcing and then putting a project on hold forever hoping for the right conditions which may never come.
