Not on the DRB agenda for February either. This project is no longer happening. Ehhh…doesn’t matter. This forum is just as dead as all of the proposed projects downtown anyways.

What's the over/under on how long it makes it? I'm giving it 3 years.

Greenville will never be Myrtle Beach. Every city of some size has some amusement. Greenville will never be on the beach, which is a very important component for Myrtle. Greenville is more of a real city.

How is a restaurant chain with locations in Lexington KY, Louisville, KY, Chattanooga, TN and some town in GA no one has ever heard of, in any way reminiscent of Myrtle Beach?

That is a good point.

Becoming more and more like Myrtle Beach everyday. Sad. Welcome to Greed-Ville.

If you're using the word greed for any city in a capitalist country you are missing the mark. Cities want to make money to stay healthy. I wouldn't want to be in one that wasn't making money.

Sounds like Jordon has big plans for this site. Should really help fill in the gap between a County Square and Main Street:

Looks like this has fallen through as the site is now for sale through Windsor Aughtry.

I think it was posted sometime in the past, but what is going in the remaining space at the Doubletree across from the baseball stadium? I see that is under construction. And New Realm is getting close. A 'Now Hiring' sign is up.

I'm excited for this one. Should be well timed to take advantage of good weather. I'm hoping that the experience is similar to Dacha in Navy Yard neighborhood of DC.

Greenville is not lacking for restaurants, but what a shame that Mary's Cottage has sat vacant for YEARS. Such a unique experience while it was in operation.

Oh noes. How will we ever survive this travesty?

I liked the old one better. We have enough Greenville murals showing how overrated our city is. The Coca-Cola one had style and history. This one is just the same ole same ole. Killed off one mural so they can put up another one also…weird.
