Queensbridge Collective - 1 tower, maybe 2

According to that website the office tower is now only 30 stories and 525k square feet, however they are still using the same renderings. Are they referring to 30 stories on top of the parking podium or has the scope of the office been significantly reduced?

Not to mention the renderings and plans suggest that the Residential Tower spans the complete 40-45 floors and sits alongside the parking podium, where as the office tower appears to be 30 floors of office on top of the 10 floors of podium parking.

Yes that too! I had that in mind when writing that. Thanks for pointing that out!

Uptown Cabaret has to close. The tower literally sits on the site of that business. That’s what CLTDev. Was referring to by the apartment tower would rise first. The office would probably start way before the apartment is completed.

That’s a good point. I would imagine that if they have a tenant though that they’d simply buy the rest of the cabaret’s lease. I can’t imagine that there’s much time left on the lease. I doubt that an entity that wants to develop an office tower would buy a site that’s encumbered by a long-term lease. I assume that Uptown Cabaret did not own the property. If they did, they’d be gone once they title transferred.

The Cabaret has no lease, they owned the entire property this project will be on

Wasn't their building supposedly one of the oldest still standing in the city, too? Obviously it's been completely changed over the years but I think I heard somewhere the building itself was very, very old.
