I guess the metal great substructure is to provide support and drainage. I'm glad they had a plan for turf drainage. The apartment I lived in when I first moved to Nashville just dropped the dog park and turf on the top level of the parking structure and the turf sat on concrete. The summer heat made the smell unbearable and was a very unpleasant experience.

A 34 story residential tower at 900 Church St. is being planned for a Summer 2022 opening by Tony Giarratana on the .31 acre lot at 900 Church St. It should stand at least 400 feet in height. No word

Alcove has officially had its grand opening this week. 

“We challenged our architects to present a visually-stimulating design that would appeal to Nashville’s creative class, which increasingly includes young technology professionals at cutting-edge tech companies like Amazon and Oracle,” Giarratana’s Chief Marketing Officer Jenny McClain said in a news release.

Alcove is currently 15% leased.

I'll be interested to see how this leases without on-site parking. I'm honestly a bit concerned, although I'm thankful Tony is making a bold push in this direction.
