From the looks of the way the base plays off of towers 2, 3 & 4, I would think they all may be done at the same time or close to the same time since the parking and the base is all shared.

The building heights were dropping as they got farther from the core. And then this complex pops up, with a tower cluster nearly 400' tall.  Really sets the bar for big height even this far out.

While I don't think these buildings are that far out as they are in essence part of the downtown core, I agree that the building height for a great majority of the proposals we've seen are mid-rise.  Which is good for infill and diversity in height, but I was afraid that much of SoBro and the the South Gulch would end up looking very mundane height wise.  While better than what is currently there, having mostly low and mid-rise buildings just would not be appealing in my opinion.  So, I'm really glad to see Paseo take things higher.  I hope Lafayette will become a corridor of high rises mixed in with mid-rise buildings.

A 16 story tower would be a big deal for most cities.   But it's just another in a big list of active towers for Nashville. 

I've been a skyscraper fan since the 80's so it's been quite a ride.  Back then we were happy to get one tower every other year. Now, it's just gang busters!

Paseo South Gulch's Tower II (31 stories, 359', 112 condos, 183 hotel rooms, ground level retail, internal garage) has had height modification approved by Metro Planning Commission.

I've been looking at that webcam in recent days and I sure can't figure out how it could match up with the render from Markhollin in the post just above it.  The render has the lot being crossed by the railroad tracks so that it's wider on the left side but the webcam shows the lot wider on the right.  It's probably something to do with the fact that I'm a senior citizen and apparently losing my grip on reality!

Webcam doesn't show the area that is in the rendering above.  It's behind the Tower II mass...webcam is of Tower I.
