I really like this building! So glad it's being rehabbed.

Seeing this headline this morning got me so excited... how is this even a stage, or even newsworthy? I doubt anyone will even notice.

The Lofts at Marathon (6 stories, 463 units) is taking another step forward as developer Left Bank Holdings paying $4.63 million for the 2.7 acre empty lot site at 806 16th Ave. North. Metro Planning Commission still needs to approve the plan on which that Smith Gee Studio is working.  No renderings have been released yet, but there was a basic diagram made available in June (see below).

Additionally, the same folks have paid $2,83 million for the narrow lot at 804 14th Ave. North (currently at 1 story warehouse) which is caddy corner to the NE.  No word on their plans for that site, although another  residential development would be a logical conclusion.
