The delay is not surprising at all, Heck, we recently did a small renovation. Finding quality paint and quality construction materials was difficult. I cannot imagine what the construction  manager of these large projects is going through.

Oh I agree. I feel like that’s why a lot of these proposed projects downtown haven’t started construction yet. I know for a fact that’s why the Comfort Inn hasn’t.

Falls Street / Camperdown Way intersection is closed to all traffic. Pavement was removed today in preparation for the roadway upgrades.

There is that path cut into the hill leading to the base of the falls (from earlier renderings)  that I was wondering about.  It also extended along the river but no signs of that I dont think

First time in Greenville for me, definitely will be back again soon.  I wish our Grand Bohemian in Charlotte looked half as good as this one will.

I had an opportunity to tour the hotel this past week. I can't wait to see the fully finished product.....this should be a magnificent property and a crown jewel for Greenville.

I hope CAP does SOMETHING with the Bowater building once the Bohemian opens. It needs an update and the surrounding area has changed so much since that building was first built.  Maybe he can resume talks with the city.

The garage isn't going anywhere. The parking would have to be replaced and it that would be very expensive. Why would you willing destroy something of value that was still needed and functional. 

The first floor facing the hotel needs to be repurposed, and the windows bordering the atrium and facing toward the river could be enhanced or updated in some way.

This is looking great! They have the signage up on the exterior, near the intersection of Camperdown/Falls.

Another interesting perspective of the new hotel and Camperdown tower.  Someone whom has never seen the city would not realize that a winding river with waterfalls, a unique pedestrian suspension bridge overlooking a beautiful urban botanical garden, and a vibrant downtown literally surround this building.

They installed faux grass in the plaza in front of the hotel yesterday. I hope they bring down the construction fencing sooner rather than later.

Really enjoyed the detail about the various dining options.  Getting Michelin-starred chef Nico Abello for the main restaurant is very compelling! Between that and Scoundrel, fine dining in downtown Greenville is really starting to appear on the map.
